At KarmaKaari, each product is crafted from materials that honour the earth and its rhythms. Chosen for their purity, purpose and minimal impact, these materials connect ancient wisdom with modern wellbeing — grounding your practice in comfort, tradition and conscious care.

CORK

Naturally harvested from the bark of the Cork Oak Tree, cork is one of the Earth’s most generous materials - renewable and endlessly recyclable. Without harming the tree, the bark is carefully removed every 7–10 years for upto 200 years.

Our cork mats, bricks and accessories are born from this rhythm of regeneration — light, durable and resilient, a material that leaves without a trace - a quiet example of sustainability in action.

COTTON

Our handloom-woven blankets handmade in the Himalayas, retain the versatility and practicality of this timeless fabric - soft, breathable and machine washable. The cushions, filled with natural cotton fibre, provide firm but gentle support in meditation and restorative practice without the bounce or collapse of synthetic fillers.

Grown and processed with minimal intervention (unbleached), it is an ideal alternative to non biodegradable synthetic fibres making it kind to the skin and the earth.

KANSA

Rooted in Ayurveda and Indian metallurgy, kansa (bell metal/bronze) is an alloy of copper, tin, and zinc and is one of the oldest healing metals known to humankind. Crafted by hand using traditional techniques passed down through generations, each piece preserves cultural knowledge, sustains rural artisan communities and creates livelihoods across India.

An ancient material that lasts a lifetime, passed down to become another cycle of care, another set of hands, another practice.

NATURAL RUBBER

Tapped directly from living trees from the lush tropical plantations of Kerala, South India, the latex is processed with minimum intervention retaining its natural character - durable, tactile and flexible.

Our mats combine the breathability of cork and the strength of natural rubber to give a naturally high traction surface that keeps you steady in movement and stillness. Thermally neutral, grounding and made to last - supporting focused flow and restful grounding.

WOOD

Known for its strength, warmth, and beautiful grain, our sustainably sourced Indian acacia wood brings a natural elegance and lasting durability to your practice carrying the quiet skill of the artisan and the grounding presence of the tree itself.

Used in meditation stools, yoga wheels, acupressure mats and alignment rods, every piece is imperfectly perfect supporting your body, holding your stillness and returning to the earth when its circle is complete.

WOOL

Sourced from indigenous sheep in the Himalayan regions of India, this local wool with its breathable and moisture wicking qualities allows airflow while drawing moisture away from the skin keeping you dry even when wrapped.

Each shawl and support blanket is handwoven by artisans on traditional handlooms using time-honoured techniques preserving cultural knowledge and skill. Light yet grounding, soft yet structured, this wool supports stillness without weight and movement without distraction. A natural fibre rooted in tradition for comfort that comes from nature and care that comes from the hand.
